1. Send your deletion request

1. State that you want to permanently delete your account.
2. Include your Guess2Score sign-in method (Apple or Google) and your display name to help locate the account. Send from the associated email where possible; mention if you use Apple’s private relay email.
3. Before execution, we may need to securely verify that the account is yours. Sending an email does not automatically delete an account.

Do not send passwords, verification codes or identity documents. We will contact you if further secure verification is needed. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.

2. Deletion inside the app

The currently uploaded beta may not have an account deletion button yet. The in-app flow has been developed and will be made available in the relevant beta after validation of Apple/Google disconnection. We do not claim that validation is complete or that every beta version includes the button.

The email request route above is available in the meantime. You do not need to install a new version or sign into the app to submit a request; account-ownership verification is still required before execution.

3. Information removed

Once verified deletion is completed, your account, linked identity/session records, profile, predictions, your score-settlement records, memberships and related user-linked game/invite/Joker records are removed. Personal game statistics are derived from these records, so your account’s statistical view ends.

This does not delete your Apple or Google account itself. Do not assume your old Guess2Score records can be restored after deletion is completed.

4. What happens to your leagues?

If a league you created has other members, ownership automatically transfers to another member. Leagues where you are the only member are deleted.

The earliest-joining remaining active member becomes the owner. A tie in joining time is resolved by ascending user identifier. The transfer takes place in the same secure database transaction as account deletion.

The league’s identity, name, remaining memberships and invitation are preserved. An owner change alone does not rotate its invite code. Other users’ accounts, predictions, points and statistics records are not deleted. Rankings may reflect your departure. Deleting a non-owner’s account does not change that league’s owner.

5. Records that may remain

Frozen aggregate prediction counts without user identifiers and football data not belonging to your personal account may remain. Security/operational logs, support correspondence and backups may be retained for necessary security or legal purposes and within service providers’ retention cycles.

We do not promise immediate removal from every backup or an unverified fixed retention period. Ask support about exceptions and retention applicable to your request. Read our privacy policy.
